Seasonal Centerpieces for the Holidays and Beyond

Happy Fall, Y’all!

Here at Lolli and Me, we both love the chance to set a new tone with home décor along with the change of seasons! When the weather starts to cool and a new football season begins, we know it’s time to break out the fall florals and autumn accents, and even to start shifting the menu. One of our favorite ways to bring the fall spirit into our homes is with floral arrangements that may involve sunflowers, roses, chrysanthemums, and dahlias in beautifully rich shades, or a pumpkin container for that festive hint!

Also during this time of year when we shift from watermelon salad to squash and stews, seasonal fruits and vegetables are another great addition to fall centerpieces. Don’t forget to think about pomegranates, citrus, apples, cabbage, or artichokes to give new life to an otherwise plain arrangement. Even kale, the food everyone either loves or loves to hate, can make easy fall décor by arranging some leaves with a few blooms in shades of yellow, orange and crimson. For a Southern twist, a few twigs of cotton are also a nice touch of texture.

Switching up placemats and napkins from summery fresh to deep autumn tones can go a long way, and we feel that from Halloween to Thanksgiving, gold accents are a welcome sight just about anywhere. Candles also achieve that golden tone that warms our hearts and homes during this season leading into the holidays.
