Family Gift Guide

We’re making a list, and checking it twice…

MAMA ALWAYS SAID™ that it’s more blessed to give than receive. Lolli and I enjoy choosing Christmas presents for our family first. It’s usually in hunting down these items that we discover ideas for others on our gift lists, too! To simplify our gift guide this year, we’ve chosen a few highlights “For Her,” “For Him,” “For Big Kids,” and “For Little Ones.” Hope you can find some inspiration (at a variety of price points!) for your own shopping this holiday season:

Gifts for Her

The holidays are a perfect opportunity to give a loved one something they may not buy for themselves. We think this small zip wallet (which comes in many “game day” colors!) would be a great gift for a college student or mom-on-the-go, as it stores essentials like your credit card, ID, and keys all in one place for grab-and-go convenience! A classic pair of genuine pearl stud earrings is another great stocking stuffer.

We have heard the Dyson hair dryer is well worth its price, and it would make a great gift for your loved one who wants to cut her beauty routine time in half! This hot item is on most women’s wish lists this holiday season! Also, if you missed our book signing event earlier this fall, you can still purchase Kimberly Schlegel Whitman’s latest, Parties Around a Punch Bowl, for the lady in your life who loves coffee table books and creative recipes for entertaining inspiration!

For the china collector (or a bride-to-be!), hand-painted porcelain by Anna Weatherley would be a cherished gift for years to come. And for she who travels frequently, we love this spinner luggage set (with monogramming options, of course!):

1: Key Ring Zip Wallet ($60) // 2: Dyson Hair Dryer ($399) // 3: Pearl Earrings ($770) // 4: Parties Around A Punch Bowl book ($15) // 5. Hand-painted Porcelain Plate ($345) // 6: Luggage Set ($480)

Gifts for Him

For the men in your life, we’ve picked a few items that are both practical and handsome. A S’well bottle that keeps water cool for 24 hours would be a great stocking stuffer, alongside a slim leather money clip wallet. Creed cologne is a classic scent that now comes in a travel size, and a leather iPad cover/stand is perfect for a guy-on-the-go, too.

We like this Bluetooth-enabled turntable as a great piece of technology for the guy with more records and Spotify playlists than he can count, or you could gift a portable bluetooth speaker if he likes to take his music and podcasts on the go! For the commuter, a beautiful leather cabin bag will be his new favorite travel companion:

1: S’well Bottle ($35) // 2: Leather Money Clip Wallet ($59) // 3: Travel Size Cologne ($119) // 4: iPad Stand ($99) // 5: Bluetooth Turntable ($40) // 6: Bluetooth Speaker ($299) // 7: Leather Cabin Bag ($350)

Gifts for “Big Kids”

We love gifts for big kids that inspire creativity! This Letters to Me When I Grow Up album prompts young writers to share stories, draw, and make lists – a gift they can enjoy now and will cherish reading when they are older. Another great stocking stuffer would be a monogram initial necklace, still available in all letters!

For the music lover, wrap up some kid-safe headphones and a portable karaoke machine for pop-up concerts anytime, anywhere! Or for the fashionista on your list, wrap up this charm chest jewelry kit!

If your “big kids” are into the latest tech gadgets, they may love a flying camera for taking pictures of their adventures around the neighborhood or during travels. And if they love to move, these fun light-up skates are a festive and fun surprise present to find under the tree!

1: Letters to Me When I Grow Up ($15) // 2: Kid-Safe Headphones ($18) // 3: Portable Karaoke Machine ($58) // 4: AirSelfie Camera ($199) // 5: Monogram Initial Necklace ($38) // 6: Jewelry Making Kit ($25) //7: Light-Up Skates ($100)

Gifts for Little Ones

Gifts that keep our littles moving and learning are the best to give and receive! This giant neon crayon is a practical and cute stocking stuffer, and a classic piggy bank is an adorable way to begin teaching tots about saving money from the nursery on up! We love this traditional rocking horse for a corner in the nursery as well. A precious pink piano would put a smile on any little girl’s face and help her discover music. And how cute it would look in the playroom?!

Personalize some red gingham pajamas for your little guys to unwrap on Christmas Eve, so they can wake up festive and warm to open presents the next morning. Perfect for those Christmas morning photos, too!

And for a show-stopping gift under the tree, add a big bow to this fire truck pedal car (which includes a roll-up hose, bell, removable wooden ladders), and watch your little one’s eyes grow wide come Christmas morning (Lolli gave my boys a similar one that they’ve enjoyed for years!):

1: Giant Neon Crayon ($10) // 2: Wooden Piggy Bank ($15) // 3:  Rocking Horse ($50) // 4: Red Gingham PJs ($28) // 5: Mini Grand Piano ($155) // 6: Fire Truck Pedal Car ($395)
