Kids’ Costumes That Won’t Spook Your Sweeties

One highlight of the fall for my littles is picking out a costume for Halloween! They usually know what they want to dress up as weeks in advance of October 31th.  However, so many costumes in stores are just plain frightening or age-inappropriate for young children, so Lolli and Me has scoured the internet to find some options for families seeking sweet over scary. Here are a few great resources for you and your kids to shop for costumes that won’t leave them spooked:

POTTERY BARN KIDS

Pottery Barn Kids offers tasteful and adorable costumes for babies, toddlers, and kids. They’ve even partnered with bridal designer Monique Lhuillier to create gorgeous fairy dresses, and with Disney/Pixar so your little ones can dress as their favorite movie characters!

THE LAND OF NOD

This Crate & Barrel affiliate brand offers some of the cutest costumes for Halloween and dress-up! We love that kids can enjoy these costumes and accessories for playtime year-round.

ETSY

Etsy is a great resource to find unique costumes for your children. Many Etsy shops will even customize a costume for you, or create one that you and your little ones have dreamt up! One of our favorite sellers for sweet costumes is Blissy Costume Couture based out of Atlanta, GA. She designs costumes inspired by kids’ characters that are sure to stand out!

We also love BooBahBlue on Etsy for great boys’ costumes!

LOVELANE DESIGNS

Lovelane Designs prides themselves on costume sets that are handmade, eco-friendly, and heirloom quality. My boys are in a superhero stage, so I’m adoring these sweet sets for them made from quality materials!

KOHL’S

Shop Kohl’s for costumes that are sweet- not scary! They’ve partnered with Disney, Marvel, pro sports teams, and more to bring your kids costumes they’ll love!

Happy fall, y’all, and happy trick-or-treating! Tag #lolliandme in your Halloween posts if your children choose costumes from any of these great sources!
