Iced Coffee Recipes to Try This Summer

With the weather reaching triple digits nearly every day now, a cool iced beverage always seems to be what we’re craving. There’s nothing better than waking up and having an iced coffee; sometimes we reach for one early afternoon, too, if we’ve been out and need something as a pick-me-up for the rest of the day. Since summer is well underway, we thought it would be fun to share iced coffee recipes we’d like to try. We usually stick to simple recipes, but we came across several unique and delicious ideas that look like they’d be worth a stir!

Starbucks Iced Caramel Macchiato Copycat

We all love a good Starbucks drink, but have you ever tried making one at home? Apparently the key to making this one as good as Starbucks is putting it together in the right order and with exactly the right amount of ingredients. You will need an espresso maker for this one!

When you want both a sweet treat and a coffee, this is the recipe for you! Full of cinnamon goodness, this one looks perfect for anyone who loves a Snickerdoodle cookie and wants to keep things simple.

Lemon Affogato Coffee

Affogatos are such an unexpected, delicious treat. They’re especially refreshing during the summertime and this recipe is fun because it isn’t quite an affogato, but it closely resembles one. Her recipe offers up both an iced version and one that isn’t iced, so you can have it either way depending on your preference. This makes for the perfect summer dessert and they look so cute in these glasses.

Toasted Coconut Cold Brew Coffee

There is something so particularly delicious about coconut and we think it makes an iced coffee taste slightly elevated than a plain iced coffee. This is technically a cold brew recipe rather than iced coffee, but it still felt relevant to include. You’ll need to prepare this one a little bit ahead of time since it’s cold brew, but it definitely looks worth the planning ahead!

Double Chocolate Iced Mocha

This drink reminds us of something we would have wanted to drink when we were kids. The presentation of this drink is so beautiful and if you’re making drinks for you and a friend to sip while catching up, this drink would be the perfect treat.

You might be surprised when you hear this, but all you need for this one is a jar and a microwave! If you’re intimidated by all the fancy coffee equipment, this recipe is definitely the one for you. We love the simplicity of this drink and how quickly you’d be able to make it, too.

Iced White Chocolate Mocha

Maybe you’re not a chocolate lover, but how about white chocolate? Everyone seems to love the Starbucks white chocolate mocha, so we wanted to include a great copycat recipe for that one. The creamy milk in this recipe will keep you coming back for cup after cup. Don’t forget to keep your glass straws handy for this one!

Iced Vanilla Latte

If you can’t get over that simple yet delicious, vanilla iced latte from Starbucks, you are sure to love this. We can’t wait to try this refreshing rendition of this popular drink. Don’t be intimidated by making your own vanilla syrup – we have a feeling it’s worth the time and great to have on-hand for lots of things!

Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato

This recipe is screaming “fall!” but it’s never too early in our minds. This recipe only has three simple ingredients and while it does require a bit more time than some of the others, it’s definitely worth it for the end result.

Vanilla Cinnamon Iced Coffee

This recipe is one you can make with ingredients you likely already have in your pantry. Cinnamon and vanilla is a simple yet delicious flavor combo, and we love that it’s the premise of this recipe. Plus – it requires you to make coffee ice cubes, which sounds like a special summer treat in and of itself!

Fresh Blueberry Cold Brew Lattes

This is possibly one of the prettiest at-home iced coffee recipes we’ve seen. It screams summer and it actually tastes like blueberries, too! If you wanted, you could make the blueberry syrup ahead of time and then have blueberry lattes all week long.

Cold Brew Coffee

If you’re not into all the fluff and frills, perhaps a simple cold brew recipe is more up your alley. Don’t knock cold brew until you’ve tried it. It’s not for everyone because it has a stronger taste than black coffee does, but we think it can be a complete game changer for busy mornings when prepared properly!

Whether you’re a coffee fanatic or newer to the coffee scene, these iced coffee recipes are perfect for this summer when you’re looking for a cup to cool you down. Let us know which ones you try and what you think of them!
