Beach Boys and Babies

For Lolli and me, summer isn’t truly summer until we’ve seen the ocean and felt sand between our toes! Our family is heading to the beach for a few days of vacation, and here’s what we’re packing the kids for our #lolliandmetravels this month.

For Baby Girl

This is our first beach vacation with a baby girl! I’m packing plenty of sweet swimwear and sunsuits for little Liza’s first time at the the beach. We’ll pack towels for “tummy time” and a float or two for her to try in the splash pool. And of course, we can’t forget lots and lots of hats and sun protection for her baby-soft skin. My favorite brand for summertime sweetness the ever-cute Beaufort Bonnet Co line of classic clothing items in pretty patterns. Here’s what’s going in Liza’s suitcase:

Sunsuit and Hat // Bonnet and Bloomers // Pink Swim Set

For Big Boys

Since our beach trip lands on Fathers Day weekend this year, the boys are celebrating “Dada” by going shark fishing with him one morning, and I’ve packed outfits for the boat that are in-theme with the occasion:

Swim Set // Shark Cover-up // Waterproof Boat Pants

Now that my boys have learned how to swim, they’ve started to enjoy wearing their goggles and diving for toys in the pool. Give them a beach bucket and tools for sand-castle building, and they’re happy as clams all day on the beach, too!

Snorkle Set // Diving Ring Set // Sand Toys

We still pack floaties for dips in the ocean. A great find this year were the boys’ monogrammed puddle jumper covers from The Smocking Bug. (Our exact ones are sadly no longer available, but you can find all kinds of colors and patterns available online):

And here are some other items I’m packing for my beach boys:

To see what Lolli and I will be wearing to the beach, head to last week’s post about Caftans and Coverups! Are you headed to the coast this summer? Please tag @lolliandme on Instagram when you share photos from your family’s beach trips. We always love seeing your #intentionalmemories!
