A Mother-Daughter Date Night with James Farmer

At Lolli and Me, we celebrate #MothersDayEveryday. Part of creating #intentionalmemories is setting aside time to do things we enjoy together, like finding unique ways to gather friends and family for fun and fellowship. This week we hosted mother-daughter duos and friends for a book signing with our dear friend, James Farmer, author and editor-at-large for Southern Living.

James is a Georgia-based landscape and interior designer, cook, and best-selling author of A Time to Plant, A Time to Cook, A Time to Celebrate, Sip & Savor, and his latest, A Place to Call Home. James joined Lolli and Me in Dallas to launch A Place to Call Home and to share with our audience his passion for making houses into homes.

We served Southern bites and set the tone with James-inspired florals—and even had a cotton candy cart inspired by his home town of Perry, Georgia’s state fair.
