Pretty Pagodas

The pagoda is an iconic Oriental architectural shape associated with Chinoiserie, a classic style dating back centuries. A décor trend WHERE THE GENERATIONS MEET®, chinoiserie and pagodas have made their way into every design style, from modern to eclectic and of course, traditional. Today the pagoda can be found on everything from wallpaper and fabric, to lighting and furniture. We’ve recently refreshed some of our patio décor with this trend and have sourced ideas for your own home refresh (while quarantine drags on!).

Pretty pagodas are always in style, especially for an al fresco occasion! Be forewarned, however, they are not easy very to find, especially at accessible price points. So, don’t hesitate to purchase one you like when you see it and start collecting! I was so glad to come across Tracy Dunn Design on Instagram just as she launched her web site’s store, and it is one of my new favorite go-tos for all things pagoda and wicker! And for Lolli and Me subscribers, Tracy is offering 15% off all orders on her online shop through Labor Day with code, “TDD15.”

I’ve been enjoying these green mini pagoda tole candle holders from Tracy’s shop by adding flameless votives for some evening glow outdoors! The kids love the whimsy, and they are such fun accessories for your tablescapes inside as well. I’d even style them on a bar cart or coffee table! Here’s a peek at Tracy Dunn’s interior design aesthetic that we can all enjoy a taste of by ordering online now:

After college, I started my career as a department store buyer buying ladies fashion, which eventually led to starting my own interior design business. For years I had the desire to combine my buying skills with my passion for interior design. Creating an online home décor shop was the answer. The shop has only been live for two months but is doing extremely well. I will continue to add new home décor items so stay tuned. I have always had a fetish for anything pagoda and anything wicker, new and old; you will see many of those items on my shop. I love to set a pretty table, collect home accessories, antiques, and anything related to the home to make it warm and inviting. I would love to hear from you. Happy Shopping!Tracy Dunn

Pagodas and rattan together are a magical thing, but don’t just take it from me! The beautiful rattan pagodas that I got from Tracy’s shop have already sold out but will be restocked! As of now they are backordered until October of this year, but she is currently taking pre-orders for all sizes! I love my long rectangle “Classic Chinese-style” pagoda coupled with the short round style as part of my collection:

Pagoda Short Round // Pagoda Long Rectangle

These rattan pagodas from Tracy’s shop make such a lovely accent for table décor or a home accessory placed on a console, sideboard…wherever! Add a flameless candle or votives underneath to create a magical centerpiece for your dining room table or add some florals like you would in any tulipière for a “wow” centerpiece! Speaking of Chinoiserie charm, this tall pagoda from Tracy’s shop would also look amazing on any entryway, console, or a variety of entertaining settings!
